Key Insights from the EFC Clinic
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) successfully conducted its 2nd Clinic for 2025 on 19th August 2025 at the EFC Auditorium, Rajagiriya. The programme was designed to provide member companies with practical guidance on challenges relating to Labour Law, Industrial Relations, and HR Management, while fostering open and collaborative dialogue.
The session was conducted by the Director General of the EFC, Mr. Vajira Ellepola, who facilitated an interactive platform for company representatives to clarify concerns and exchange views on pressing employment-related issues.
Key topics discussed during the clinic included the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act No. 11 of 2025 and the Budgetary Relief Allowance Acts No. 09 & 10 of 2025.
The clinic concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing participants to seek further clarifications and raise queries on other aspects of employment law.
Through this initiative, the EFC reaffirmed its commitment to assist employers in navigating the evolving regulatory framework while promoting effective and compliant workplace practices.
